I ONLY SMOKE WHEN I DRINK
I only smoke when I drink
I only drink at weekends
It all starts off as a joke
But I’m in tears by the end
I’ve got some sick on my shoe
I’m not quite sure if it’s mine
I’m a romantic at heart
Somehow the stars won’t align
I’m a waste of skin and bone
A teenager overgrown
There’s no will and there’s no way
To keep my lonesome fears at bay
Cross my heart and hope to die
Stick a needle in your eye
And tell me what I want to hear
Even if it’s just the beer
I only smoke when I drink
I only drink at weekends
It all starts off as a joke
But I’m in tears by the end
I’ve got some sick on my shoe
I’m not quite sure if it’s mine
I’m a romantic at heart
Somehow the stars won’t align
Another friend has settled down
Now she won’t come into town
All she ever wants to do
Is M&S ‘Dine In For Two’
I think I might stay home tonight
I’m just so sick of disco lights
But then again, what if he’s there?
I better find something to wear
I only smoke when I drink
I only drink at weekends
It all starts off as a joke
But I’m in tears by the end
I’ve got some sick on my shoe
I’m not quite sure if it’s mine
I’m a romantic at heart
Somehow the stars won’t align
Another cigarette
Another cigarette
Another cigarette...
I only smoke when I drink
I only drink at weekends
It all starts off as a joke
But I’m in tears by the end
I’ve got some sick on my shoe
I’m not quite sure if it’s mine
I’m a romantic at heart
Somehow the stars won’t align
